Jeff Rottman - Dutch Lake Pottery

Thank you for your interest in Dutch Lake Pottery.  Since 2002, I have been a studio potter working from my home as well as a community space at the urban institute of contemporary Art, both in Grand Rapids, MI.

My goal is to improve the quality of life for my family, community and customers by creating handmade pottery.  All of the pottery I sell is made exclusively by me, giving each piece certain special attention.  The simplicity of my glaze application and form is designed to enhance the item that is being served on it adding to the experience through the presentation.  The inspirations of my collections come from my love of the Food Network and all of my favorite chefs and restaurants.  I feel my work parallels the serving styles of the current bistros, cafes, delicatessens and local restuarants.

All of my glzes are lead-free, food, microwave and dishwasher safe with some pieces being oven safe.  Enjoy!
